How to Meet Us

For "first-timers", coming to a support group like ours can be intimidating for some. Other may not feel the need...they have the Internet...you see. So, the first question is: Why would you want to join a support group?

It's true the Internet has a lot to offer. There is a world of information out there. But exactly how much is truth? And how much applies to your situation? And, just how personal can your chat room be? Actually, we also get much of our information from the Internet. We find it much more fulfilling to discuss issues FACE to FACE with someone who knows us. "Friends" is a good word to describe us.

You see we aren't just a support group. We are a social group as well. We frequently get together for dinner at local restaurants. We go shopping together. We socialize and help each other when the need arises. We are friends. We have a lot in common. Gender Identity is a complex issue. Reading about being transgender may not be the "quick fix" you hoped for. When you realize you need a group of like-minded friends, we will be here for you. So, now that you've visited our website, why not give us a call.

We have a pager. You can call us anytime during the day or early evening and just leave a message. Someone will call you back. Just leave us your name and number. We are always discreet and your information is confidential and private. That number is: 502.894.1084. You may also click on the CONTACT US link to get in touch with us or an ask questions.

How else can you meet us? You may see us at The Connection or The Alternative. You may see us at KT's restaurant or the Center for The Arts, The Bristol or Baxter Theater. We may even bank where you bank, or shop at a Kroger's in your neighborhood. Come over and say, "Hello"
